Job Summary: The Repair Technician is responsible for repairs on in-warranty and vintage guitars that range from basic to expert level repairs. The role is a blend of craftsmanship and quality that focuses on industry standards. Previous guitar repair experience is required.
Essential Functions:
- Perform all duties of a Repair Operator (basic level repairs).
- Plane & refret.
- Structural repairs (Electric and Acoustic).
- Complete electronics repair.
- Basic level finish repair.
- Full restorations.
- Plek operation.
- Neck resets.
- Package and ship guitars as needed.
- Track time and material usages.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have proficient guitar playing experience.
- Must have experience as a guitar repair operator.
- Direct consumer experience highly preferred.
- Vintage guitar knowledge highly preferred.
- Experience with neck resets highly preferred.
- Experience with mandolins and banjos preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Guitar repair experience is required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand all day and lift guitars throughout the day.
