Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly organized Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Operations Manager. The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the organization and security of all content for omni-channel marketing, ensuring the successful implementation of digital initiatives using a Digital Asset Management System (DAM). The Marketing Operations team manages the flow of information and assets to and from the creative & content teams, and monitors adherence to brand standards and marketing deadlines.

The Marketing Operations Coordinator will ensure effective processes and consistent experiences across all teams within creative (content, editorial, copy, design), and will collaborate with partners (Brand Planning, Digital/DTC Marketing, Retail/Trade Marketing, Creative and Content and Entertainment Relations) on developing all cross functional initiatives. that end, the primary purpose of the position is to be master of the DAM system. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage intake of assets into the DAM system, ensuring correct file naming structures, asset tagging, placement, and gatekeeping for internal and external parties.
  • Manage distribution of assets from the DAM system (via the asset Portal) to all internal/cross-functional teams and external partners (e.g., Retailers, Press Outlets, Agencies, etc)
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between creatives, content producers, designers, copywriters, and outside partners.
  • Review assets for accuracy prior to review by the cross functional teams
  • Attend asset review meetings and vet feedback for the creative and production teams.
  • Facilitate Trafficking and Operations meetings to ensure process and communication.
  • Manage timelines for photography (product and lifestyle), copy and design, and manage deadlines for creative assets.
  • Develop and refine effective workflow processes, scheduling strategies, and communication models.
  • Communicate obstacles and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain understanding of all aspects of brand standards, design, and production process.
  • Owns and maintains Digital Asset Management System (Brand Folder) and key stakeholder of traffic system (MONDAY.com) 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in handling issues around resource management, technology, and workflow processes
  • Understanding of design, copy, and photography, and digital creative deliverables
  • Proven track record of facilitating workflow and deadline adherence. 
  • Communicating and building strong connections with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of implementation and utilization of technologies that support creative team (workflow/project management, digital asset management/DAM) and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
  • Excellent multitasking, project management and communication skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver

 

Education and Experience:

  • AA or BA in Marketing/Communications, Project Management, Business Management or equivalent degree or related work experience (graduate or degree still in process)
  • 1-2+ years of professional work experience
  • Project Management Certification a plus but not required.
