The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for performing broad professional human resources responsibilities to support business objectives including the support of policies and programs with benefits, employee relations, recruiting and the HRIS.  This position will be integral to facilitate and proactively resolve employee concerns using employee relations skills and methodologies. The HRBP will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management and strengthen partnerships across the business functions. The HRBP will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its business plans, its culture and its competition.

 

Essential Functions

  • Assist/Lead in the development and implementation of HR strategies, processes and policies 
  • Manages the full-cycle recruitment process including a supportive onboarding plan
  • Offers HR advice and guidance to employees, managers, and business leaders
  • Creates a positive work environment through relationship building and effective communication
  • Facilitates the process to resolve employee relation issues and help maintain positive relationships
  • Understands compensation structures and benefit administration
  • Maintains compliance for State and Federal regulations
  • Ensures accurate record keeping and reporting
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to propose/recommend solutions, programs and policies
  • Ensures safety and sanitation regulations according to the EHS Policies/Procedures
  • Projects and/or other duties as requested by Senior Management, HR and Production teams
  • Be an integral member of various project teams to change/improve processes as the company evolves
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees identifying gaps and seek business solutions
  • Provide leadership and strengthen internal communications creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environment
  • Lead change management and process improvement initiatives

 


Skills and Competencies

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office & HRIS (ADP – WFN/WFM)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience 

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • SHRM Designation a plus
  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)

Travel Requirements 

  • Potential travel to and between the company’s manufacturing and sales locations may be required (5-10%).
