Gibson Garage Fest Week Continues With Live Music Daily

WHAT: Gibson, the iconic, American instrument brand is opening the doors of the new Gibson Garage--the ultimate guitar experience and Nashville’s newest must-see music destination--early to media and guests for a special event on Thursday, June 9, at 9:00am CT. Media are invited to join Gibson’s leadership James "JC" Curleigh (Gibson, President and CEO), and Cesar Gueikian (Gibson, Brand President), for a special announcement, performance, and donation presentation from Darius Rucker and Gibson’s philanthropic arm Gibson Gives to the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) fund for music education.

WHY: Falling on the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Gibson GarageGibson Garage Fest Week features live performances from music superstars and the hottest emerging CMA artists. Gibson Garage Fest Week is open to the public and will feature intimate, live music performances and experiencesdaily.  Fans can attend artist Q&A’s, participate in guitar-playing lessons with world-renowned experts, and interact with the iconic guitar brand Gibson and its legendary artists--as well as Gibson Gives, to win one-of-a-kind music prizes, experiences, and support the music community of Music City USA, Nashville.

All day on Thursday June 9, fans will have the chance to win “Gibson Golden Pick” prizes by grabbing a pick inside the MESA/Boogie amplifier--located in the center of the Garage. Many Golden Pick prizes will be awarded every half-hour at the Garage from 10:30am - 6:00pm, including the ultimate “Golden Pick” Grand Prize which includes:

  1. Gibson Made-to-Measure Custom Guitar.

  2. A tour of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville.

  3. A tour of the Gibson Garage Vault.
