Pure Rock ’n’ Roll Perfection
Mike Ness is a producer and musician and the lead guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the legendary punk band and rock ’n’ roll icons Social Distortion. A self-described "Gibson guy," his favorite electric guitar is a modified 1976 Les Paul™ Deluxe Goldtop, which served as the basis for this Gibson Custom Shop Artist Model. It comes equipped with a three-piece maple neck, a 2-piece plain maple top, and a mahogany/maple/mahogany back. The stock mini humbuckers have been replaced by P-90's, which Mike prefers. The Goldtop finish has been expertly aged by the artisans of the Murphy Lab to match Mike's original, and it even includes the Orange County, Clay Smith Cams Mr. Horsepower®, and I Voted stickers.
