Job Summary:
The Ecommerce Merchandising role will drive the development, execution, and analysis of the Gibson Brands online merchandising strategy. (S)he will work closely with the Director of Ecommerce and key stakeholders in merchandising, creative, marketing, production, and technology to ensure a superior customer experience, drive engagement, and increase conversion.
Success in this role requires an understanding of how our brand messaging and product strategy relates to the customer experience on our owned channels. (S)he will partner with teams across the organization to implement and support an effective site merchandising strategy that aligns with our business objectives, reporting on the impact to site performance and sales.
Essential Functions:
- Merchandise and manage category collection pages and editorial collection pages based on brand strategy, product calendar, and insights/analytics.
- Execute ecommerce merchandising to support campaigns and promotions, working closely with product, marketing, and creative teams to develop and implement new site content and experiences in support of the revenue and consumer acquisition/retention goals.
- Responsible for product page content in partnership with the creative and product team to determine and develop content that guides consumers through their shopping path.
- Partner with product and operations to analyse and monitor inventory levels and performance and react/adapt based on consumer trends.

Education and Experience:
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Experienced/Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook and Site/Merchandising Business Tools (CMS)
- Demonstrated leadership within past roles.
- Experienced in developing Merchandising Strategy Playbooks and Protocols based on best practices.
- Experience in working in a dynamic global premium branded consumer goods company is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in Business/Marketing or related area or equivalent experience (bachelor’s degree)
