D365 F&O Developer

Essential Functions:

• Participate in client meetings to gather business requirements and map to the solution capabilities
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Lead Developer to ensure a consistent global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementation 
• Perform gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed
• Complete design/configuration of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and key third-party products
• Produce project documentation such as: Functional Requirements Document, Customization Specifications, User Acceptance Test Scripts, and End User Training
• Documentation using Gibson’s project implementation methodology
• Build integrations to perform data conversion tasks and additional integrations based on requirements
• Participate in all tasks relating to feature testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing
• Lead end user training for clients in a one on one, webinar and classroom style settings
• Provide application support for clients
• Assist with escalation support for help desk
• Understand development life cycle and support existing extensions

 A Successful F&O Developer Has:

• An understanding of the development life cycle and will support existing extensions
• Demonstrated proficiency with implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate into system configuration and processes
• Excellent documentation and business writing skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and process
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies or related field
• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS and Git
• Experience with the requisite languages (X++, C#, SQL)
• Experience with SSRS reporting
• Experience with Microsoft business productivity tools (Teams, Office, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years or more of implementation experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (or prior versions [Dynamics AX]), or comparable ERP system
• Basic understanding of supply chain, warehouse management, production control, inventory management, or financials
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate
• Experience with Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, or similar low code/no code solutions
• Experience with other languages (ex. Java C++)
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, VBA, etc.)
