Job Summary: The Finishing Painter at Gibson performs hand spraying on guitars. In charge of making sure all paint and lacquer finishing is up to company standards. Keeping paint booths and E-stat equipment clean and investigating any quality issues that may arise.

Essential Functions:

• Adhere to finishing standards when painting guitars.
• Use E-stat spray gun to produce an even coat on all products.
• Document any modification to the material. (adding EEP)
• Ensure the paint equipment is cleaned properly.
• Inspect finishing room for safety violations.
• 5S area and conduct layered audits.
• Paint Vault Check List is in use and up to date for compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Painting (E-stat sprayer) experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand all day and lift guitars throughout the day.
