
Tim McGraw has launched his new album, Southern Voice, released on October 20, 2009, with a series of national television appearances. On Oct 12th he performed on "Late Show with David Letterman" and played an exclusive "Live on Letterman" webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater and on Friday, October 16th, McGraw returned to the "Late Show" for a performance and an interview with Letterman.
For album release week, McGraw will perform on "TODAY" (10/23) as part of the Toyota Concert Series on Rockefeller Plaza, "The Jay Leno Show" (10/27), where he'll be joined by special guest Gregg Allman, and "Ellen" (10/29).
Southern Voice is McGraw's first studio album in two-and-a-half years. The album features the lead single, "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" along with the title track, "Southern Voice" which McGraw will debuted on September 10th in front of a national audience for the NFL's Opening Kickoff on NBC. Recorded in Nashville with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland, Phil Vassar), Southern Voice is the follow-up to Let It Go, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in April of 2007. McGraw will support his new album with an extensive tour in 2010.
