Rarest of WoW days

08.29.2007- CST

So today you find me on a RARE rarest of WoW days… a day OFF! Our last day off was in Michigan at the Black Family Reunion. It was so cool. Chris’ family was really sweet, the food was YUM and we got to swim and tube and even watch “Rudy”. Yep pretty neato. Since then we played a gang of cool shows… Ypsilanti at The Elbow Room ROCK ROCK ROCK, Saginaw a happy surprise, Indiana! Melody Inn = too much rock! Got to play with our pals and labelmates the Vacancies in Ohio and of course NY is always super and we bowled and played at the same time at Asbury Lanes in NJ, yes actually knocked some pins mid-set! SO FUN SO FUN! Really too much, and we were really in need of a day to sleep… er … well… a day to play in a hotel pool, do laundry, ruin a sauna, take multiple showers in a single day… you know the things we don’t usually get to do. We also got to eat two giant meals today. Both involved messy burritos. YES!!!!!!!

So my Dad tells me the Kohl’s commercial is on all the time. Cool. Making tons of new Myspace friends every day as a result. AND… well, it’s kinda funny but I guess they play our song, “Because I’m Awesome” every hour in every Kohl’s store, so there have been a couple angry messages from disgruntled Kohl’s employees. I think I would go crazy too. Can’t really blame them. Teeeeheeee. We’re pretty behind on Myspace messages. Tag-teaming them in the hotel right now watching The Aviator.

I’m also really really happy and a little distracted because my little sister drove up from Tampa to hang out with us! Oh and I’m sure you’re interested…we got pedicures today and my toenails are the coolest shade of turquoise ever created. Check under those fingernails for me! I’ll let you know how the South feels with no a/c in the van. It’s been boiling hot the entire time but we may set new temp records going through the South on our way back to L.A. Off to dream/sleep time!
