First Video
07.27.2007- CST
About a week ago we shot our first video. It took around 15 hours to complete and only about two hours of actual playing!
We left Deland at 7 a.m. and went to the studio for set up. After loading in our gear, we plugged everything in, and then sat around for a few hours. Sitting became our main focus until around 8 p.m. Most of that valence time we spent reading magazines, watching movies, and, in-between, jamming.
Another main point of the day was food. First there were bagels and cream cheese, and then pizza; however, something odd must have happened by the end of the night. By that time the food situation had humorously turned into strips of unidentifiable meat and rice with green hair all over it. Somebody else's taste and choice, but to be honest it wasn't that bad.

While we sat around the video crew arranged the set with cool tapestries and lighting. The sound team spent a lot of time testing everything. There were some technical problems with wiring making the set up last as long as it did. After multiple problems as well as multiple solutions we were finally ready to record. That turned out to be the shortest part of the day. We cut each song totally live three times back to back. We knew the songs well enough to just throw them out there.
That's really it for now. We're working on some stuff which will hopefully lead to some touring in the near future. The video should be done in a month and I'll be sure to let you know all about it. I'd really like to thank all of those who donated their time, skills, and equipment to helping us make this video: Michael Weber and the video crew; Jayson Sucof and the all of the people involved in the audio end of the production; Gibson (for all their support in our careers, the greatest guitar I've ever played, and for rushing us equipment to use in the video); and all of our management, Ron, Tony, and Joe for all their dedication and belief in our band, as well as all the help they've given us so far.
